Prayer feathers are commonly given as a gift to heal the heart. Just as ancient Americans used the feathers to send prayers to the heavens and draw healing power from the sky, and so with all sincerity we hope such healing goes with you with every footstep.
Handcrafted by Northern Minnesota White Earth Ojibwe Indians and Southwest US Navajo Indians, are these smudge prayer real feathers made with Wood, glass or bone beads, Healing stones, and/or leather wrap. Each is one of a kind, Authentic, and guaranteed to be original.
Ojibwe feathers measure between 7″ (A) to 14″ (D) long. The image is just to show a sample of what the size/style looks like.
Deluxe Ojibwe feathers are wrapped in leather for the handle, have glass and brass beaded tassels and measure about 12-14″ long.
Navajo feathers are wrapped with different colored leather for the handle and is unique to the artist and the sacred path he walks. Feathers, beads and leather will vary. Certificate of Authenticity is included with the Navajo feathers which come in White (about 12″ long), Turkey (about 13″ long) or Turkey with Red Wrap (about 13″ long).
