Description

Very unique but we admit this is not our specialty.  From the research we have done we can conclude that this is a prime example of Yoruba African Art in the form of a wall hanging.   Tiny glass seed beads make up the design on a raised pattern canvas background with cowry shell accents.    Seems very old and has some weight to it.  The female, snakes, other sections and birds are padded and the snake heads are not attached (by design) Very old glue and a couple threads to reinforce one of the snake heads has been used at some point in time.   We took many pictures, but if you need more-please let us know what you need a close-up of.   Measures about 41″ long not counting the hanging loop and about 22″ wide.  Unfortunately we have no history on the piece.
