General Log
Cabin Decor Tips
You don't need
to spend a lot of money to get the comfortable look of an Adirondack
Lodge. Add fresh cut Birch Twigs to a tall primitive vase in the
corner or on the fireplace mantel. Fill bowls and vases with pine
branches or lay them on your primitive cupboards amongst your freshly
scented pinecones. Find deadfall Birch logs in the forest
and carefully remove the wood for a hollow log of Birch Bark to make candles
or cut the Birch Bark into the shape of your light switch and glue in place. "Plant" old artificial Christmas trees in your backyard to add instant
perches and protection for the birds that come to your feeders. Don't
be afraid to leave your pine garland up all year around. Its easy to
dust if your husband has a long air hose on his compressor! Most of all, use your imagination and don't
hesitate to bring Nature
indoors.
